Eagle Pass Lady Eagles Softball edged by Weslaco Lady Panthers 13-12 in Game 1 of Area Championship

The District 29-6A and Bi-District Champions, Eagle Pass High Schoool Lady Eagles, were edged by the Weslaco High School Lady Panthers 13-12 in a close and exciting Game One of the Area Championship on Friday, May 6, 2016 at the Laredo United Independent School District Student Activity Complex in Laredo, Texas.

The Lady Panthers take a 1-0 game lead over the Lady Eagles in the best of three Area Championshsip series in Laredo.

Game 2 of the series is scheduled for Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 4 P.M. at the Laredo United ISD SAC, and Game 3, if necessary, will follow 30 minutes after Game 2 at the same location.
