EPISD Police aid in Texas Rangers arrest

Eagle Pass, Tx, May 9, 2016: On May 6, 2016 at about 2:35 pm Eagle Pass ISD Police Department aided the Texas Ranger Division in the execution of two warrants. The warrants were issued for the arrest of Carlos “Charlie” Ruiz on Official Oppression and Tampering with evidence. Ruiz was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center.

Ruiz had previously turned in a letter of resignation, effective as of June 2, 2016.
