Eagle Pass High School Graduation scheduled Friday, June 3rd

The Eagle Pass High School Eagles Class of 2016 graduation is scheduled to be held on Friday, June 3, 2016, at 8 P.M. at the Eagle Pass Independent School District (EPISD) Student Activity Center Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium, announced EPISD Superintendent Gilberto Gonzalez.
Approximately 500 seniors are expected to graduate from Eagle Pass High School.
Eagle Pass High School Principal John Cox proudly announced the top five (5%) percent honor graduates at a Recognition Banquet held at the EPISD Student Activity Center Fine Arts Center on Wednesday, May 12, 2016.
The 2016 Eagle Pass High School Valedictorian is Chalo Martinez with an outstanding Grade Point Average (GPA) of 103.36 and the Salutatorian is Roberta Gomez with an excellent GPA of 103.25.
The other top 5% honor graduates of the Eagle Pass High School Class of 2016 include Erica Kaitlan Santos with a GPA of 102.95, Suzett Fernandez with a GPA of 102.78, Loreily Limon with a GPA of 102.48, Raymundo Marquez with a GPA of 102.40, Juan Carlos Gonzalez with a GPA of 101.37, Melanie Marie Mendoza with a GPA of 101.19, Jae Bak with a GPA of 100.85, Jaime Alejandro Rodriguez with a GPA of 100.45, Naila J. Telles with a GPA of 100.48, Pedro Castro, Jr. with a GPA of 100.24, Johnny Ray Guerrero, Jr. with a GPA of 99.88, Alexis Sanchez with a GPA of 99.86, Oscar Eduardo Garza with a GPA of 99.63, Jorge A. Balino with a GPA of 99.09, Gabriel Villasenor with a GPA of 98.95, Jose Moreno with a GPA of 99.81, Eric J. Herrera with a GPA of 98.80, Jose Juan Olvera Villalpando with a GPA of 98.79, Jesus R. In case of inclement of weather, the Eagle Pass High School Graduation ceremony will be moved to 10:00 A.M. on Saturday June 4 , 2016. If it is raining on the day of graduation, please tune in to your local radio station, watch I-Vision Cable Channel 16, or call your campus to receive further details. If rain continues on the rescheduled date, then the ceremony will be cancelled and students can pick up their diploma the following business day.
