Eagle Pass Man arrested for retaliatory action at local gasoline-convenience store

An Eagle Pass, Texas man, Daniel Macias, age 29, was arrested by the Eagle Pass Police Department on Friday, June 17, 2016 for retaliatory action taken against a local gasoline-convenience store clerk in an incident which occurred on June 9, 2016 at approximately 5:24 A.M.
Macias had a warrant of arrest issued against him after entering and taking beer without paying for it at the Cleo’s on North Veterans Boulevard on June 9, 2016 and later returning to the store to assault the store clerk for reporting him to the Eagle Pass Police Department.
Macias was arrested by the Maverick County Sheriff’s Department after fighting with another man, Reynaldo Lopez, at a local bar. Upon Macias’ arrest, the Sheriff’s Department learned there was an outstanding warrant of arrest for Macias by the Eagle Pass Police Department for the June 9, 2016 retaliatory incident at the Cleo’s gas station.
Macias was magistrated for the retaliatory action on June 9th and a bond of $25,000 was set on him.
