Lone Gunman shoots and kills 49 people and injured 53 at Orlando, FL Night Club with assault rifle, Gunman killed by SWAT Team

A lone gunman identified as Omar Saddiqui Mateen, age 29, of Fort Pierce, Florida rushed into a gay nightclub business known as Pulse in Orlando, Florida at approximately 2 A.M. on Sunday, June 12, 2016, and opened fire with an AR-15 assault rifle upon patrons killing 49 people and injured another 53 people in what law enforcement authorities are calling a domestic terrorism incident.
SWAT Team members rushed into the nightclub and killed the lone gunman in a shootout.
According to medical providers, the death toll may rise with 53 people seriously injured with gunshot wounds to their bodies.
Law enforcement authorities are calling this nightclub massacre incident as the worst mass shooting incident in U.S. history.
All local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies have been placed on alert due to the Orlando, Florida shooting massacre to prevent similar or other incidents from occurring.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is at the grisly scene in Orlando, Florida to investigate the shooting massacre.
Preliminary reports indicate that the shooter, Omar Saddiqui Mateen, a U.S. born citizen with parents from Afghanistan, may have had ties with Islamic extremist groups, including ISIS.
America is shocked by this gruesome act of domestic terrorism and mourns the deaths of innocent victims and prays for the recovery of the wounded victims.
