Rep. Poncho Nevárez to read Declaration of Independence at Maverick County Courthouse
(Press Release) Austin, TX — On Friday, July 1st State Representative Poncho Nevárez will read the Declaration of Independence along with the Maverick County Bar Association in honor of Independence Day for the United States of America. The reading will take place at the Maverick County Courthouse in the courtroom upstairs at 2:00pm.
“The reading of the Declaration of Independence is a longstanding tradition that I uphold with honor and pride,” Nevárez said. “As citizens of the United States it is important that we remember the significance of the celebration of the Fourth of July and the sacrifices made by those who serve our country every day.”
The Maverick County Courthouse is located at 500 Quarry Street in Eagle Pass, Texas 78852.
