Eagle Pass Eagles District Football Game versus Laredo LBJ Wolves suspended due to lightning near stadium, rescheduled for September 26th

The Eagle Pass High School Eagles led the visiting Laredo LBJ High School Wolves 21-19 in the third quarter of their key District 29-6A football game when the game was suspended by the referee due to lightning near the Eagle Pass Independent School District Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium on Saturday, September 24, 2016.
School officials from both high schools have agreed to reschedule the Fistrict 29-6A football game to Monday, September 26, 2016 st 6 p.m. at the EPISD Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium at the same point where the game was at before the lightning suspension.
