Eagle Pass C. C. Winn Mavericks stampede Uvalde Coyotes 31-0 enroute to District 29-5A Football Co-Championship

The thundering Eagle Pass C. C. Winn High School Mavericks stampeded the visiting Uvalde High School Coyotes in a key District 29-5A football game on Thursday, November 3, 2016, at the Eagle Pass Independent School District Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium, earning an outright District 29-5A Co-Championship and now await the result of the game  between Floresville Tigers and Southside Cardinals on Friday, November 4th, to determine if they will be sole or co-champions in 2016. The Mavericks also garner their first post-season playoff berth in the school’s 11th year history.

Also during halftime, Marychelo Flores and Marcus Palacios were crowned as the 2016 Homecomig Queen and King, representing Football.
