AEP Electrical Lineman electrocuted in Eagle Pass, Texas

An AEP electrical lineman, Rodolfo Balledteros, a resident of Uvalde, Texas, was electrocuted throughout his body when he inadvertently touched a live electrical line while doing repairs on U. S. Highway 57 in Eagle Pass, Texas.
City of Eagle Pass Fire Department EMS was summoned to the worksite accident and transferred Ballesteros to Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center Emergency Room for medical attention. Balledteros was airlifted to a San Antonio, Texas medical hospital due to the severity of the burns to his body.
Eagle Pass EMS reported Ballesteros suffered burns to 40 percent of his body as a result of the electrocution.
Ballesteros is in critical care but stable at a San Antonio medical center.
