Eagle Pass Police Department Crime Report

Tuesday, January 17, 2017, 5:41 PM: An Eagle Pass Police Officer responded to Mall De Las Aguilas in regards to a report of criminal trespassing. The investigating officer arrived and spoke with a mall security officer who informed him of a male subject who was currently restricted from any mall property. The male subject identified as 44 year old Josue Rocha was placed under arrest as mall security was able to provide an active Criminal trespass order issued by mall personnel. Rocha was later presented before a magistrate where he was formally charged with criminal trespassing and remanded to the Tom Bowles Detention Center in lieu of a $1750 bond.

Tuesday, January 17, 2017, 7:40 PM: Eagle Pass Police Officers responded to a report of an aggressive female at the Walmart Store. Upon arriving, investigating officers were informed that the alleged aggressive female was detained after passing the last point of sale without making any attempt to pay for merchandise which was concealed in her purse. The female identified as 31 year old Wendy Guerra was placed under arrest and later released on a Municipal Court citation charging her with theft under $100.

Tuesday, January 17, 2017, 9:06 PM: An Eagle Pass Police Officer responded to jewelry store located within Mall De Las Aguilas in reference to a theft. The investigating officer was informed that a 28 year old female had been detained after exiting the jewelry store without making any attempt to pay for a ring valued at $2,999.00. The female was placed under arrest and is currently pending presentation before a magistrate to be formally charged with theft.
