Eagle Pass Eagles Linebacker David Ramos signs Letter of Intent to play at William Penn University

Eagle Pass High School Eagles standout linebacker David Ramos signed a National Letter of Intent to play collegiate football with the William Penn University Statesmen in Oskaloosa, Iowa on Wednesday, February 1, 2017.
Ramos was accompanied by his parents, Ricardo and Olga Ramos, and family members, coaches, teammates, school administrators, and friends at the Signing Ceremony held in the EPHS Gymnasium Classroom.
Eagle Pass Eagles Head Coach Tom Gonzalez congratulated David Ramos on his accomplishment and noted that Ramos had been a three year letterman with the Eagles, including two years as a captain and starter at linebacker. Coach Gonzalez stated that Ramos had worked very hard and dedicated himself to his academic studies and athletic training to reach the opportunity of playing football at the collegiate level.
David Ramos thanked his parents and family, coaches, teammates, and Eagle Nation fans for supporting him during his past three years as an Eagle student athlete and looks forward to playing for the William Penn Statesmen.
