Maverick County SWCD Directors Announce Fall Fish Stocking Program

(Press Release) Javier Mancha, Chairman of the Maverick County Soil & Water Conservation District #253 announced that the District is offering a Fall FISH STOCKING PROGRAM. According to Mancha, anyone wanting to purchase fish to stock or re-stock their pond (s) can place their order now with them directly by calling 361-387-7819. The SWCD is using Herrmann’s Fish Farm out of Robstown, Texas. Fish will be delivered at the Maverick County Lake area, Friday April 28, 2017 between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

Maverick County SWCD #253 directors thank you for your support, efforts like this, provide the means for the SWCD to assist the youth of Maverick County to attend programs such as the Maverick County Livestock Show, “Texas Buckskin Brigade”, “Texas Quail Brigade”, “The Youth Range Workshop” and others.
