H-E-B Recalls Ice Cream Sold in Eagle Pass Store Plus Four Other Stores

H-E-B announced the recall of its own store-brand Creamy Creations Cherry Vanilla Light Churn Style Ice Cream due to an undeclared almond allergen at five stores throughout Southwest Texas, including its Eagle Pass, Crystal City, Carrizo Springs, Lytle, and Pearsall stores.

H-E-B discovered the undeclared almond allergen when a customer returned the ice cream to a store.

The recall affects a single lot code dated SELL BY OCT 19 17 ENJOY BY NOV 18 17 with a time stamp of 13:48, 13:49, 13:50, 13:51, 13:52, 13:53, 13:54, 13:55, 13:56, 13:57, or 13:58.

H-E-B. will accept the return of this ice cream at any of its stores and will provide the customer a full refund.
