Democratic Party Candidate Jay Hulings for Congress to Host Rally in Eagle Pass on Saturday, Feb. 10th, at 2:30 PM at County Lake Gazebo

Democratic Party candidate Jay Hulings for the 23rd Texas Congressional District of San Antonio, Texas will be hosting a political rally titled “Opportunity in America” on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at 2:30 P.M. at the Maverick County Lake Gazebo (Pavilion) in Eagle Pass, Texas, featuring Jay Hulings, former United States HUD Secretary Julian Castro, and Congressman Joaquin Castro.

Ramon Chapa, Regional Political Director of Jay Hulings for Congress, stated that the “Opportunity in America” political rally on Saturday, February 1oth, at 2:30 P.M. at the Maverick County Lake Gazebo is open to the public and a great opportunity to meet Jay Hulings and learn why he is seeking the Democratic Party nomination for the 23rd Texas Congressional District in the March 6th Primary Election.

Chapa noted that nationally renowned former US HUD Secretary and Mayor of San Antonio Julian Castro will accompany Jay Hulings at the February 10th rally in Eagle Pass and will address the audience on why Hulings is the best candidate for the Texas 23rd Congressional District.

In addition to Julian Castro, current Congressman Joaquin Castro of San Antonio will join Jay Hulings and twin brother, Julian Castro, and speak on the key issues facing the 23rd Texas Congressional District and the United States.

Jay Hulings is a graduate of Harvard Law School and previously served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Western District of Texas, in Del Rio and San Antonio, Texas, allowing him to become familiar with the salient issues facing the 23rd Texas Congressional District.  Hulings mother, Patty Garcia, a retired CIA Officer, of Tucson, Arizona is of Mexican-American ancestry.

Chapa added that there will be food, refreshments, and music available at the February 10th rally in Eagle Pass at the Maverick County Lake Gazebo and invites all Maverick Countians and surrounding area citizens to attend, meet and greet Jay Hulings, and exercise their right to vote in the March 6th Texas Primary Election.

Early voting for the Texas Primary Election starts on Tuesday, February 20th, and continues until March 2nd and regular Election Day is Tuesday, March 6th.
