Maverick County Polling Places for Texas Senate District 19 Special Emergency Election on July 31, 2018 Announced

The Maverick County Polling Places for the Texas Senate District 19 Special Emergency Election to be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 7 A.M. through 7 P.M. are the following:
Precincts 1 A, B, and C: Memorial Junior High;
Precincts 2 A and B: San Luis Elementary;
Precinct 2 C: Rosita Valley Elementary;
Precinct 2D: El Indio Community Center;
Precincts 3 A and B: Seco Mines Elementary;
Precinct 3 C: Quemado Community Center;
Precincts 4 A, B, and C: Eagle Pass High School; and
Precinct 4 D: Henry B. Gonzalez Elementary.
A total of eight candidates are vying for the vacant Texas Senate District 19 seat, including former Congressman and State Representative Pete Gallego (Democrat), Charles Urbina Jones (Democrat), State Representative Tomas Uresti (Democrat), State Representative Roland Gutierrez, Jesse (Jay) Alaniz (Republican), Carlos Antonio Raymond (Republican), Peter Flores (Republican), and Tony Valdivia (Libertarian).
All Maverick County registered voters are encouraged to participate in this important special emergency election on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, by taking time to go vote at their designated Precinct Polling Place and making a difference through their valuable vote.
