Eagle Pass Police Department Crime Report

Saturday, August 25, 2018, 11:18 PM: Eagle Pass Police Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity at a local convenience store within the 800 block of North Bibb Street. Responding officers encountered three (3) male subject behind the store. Officers attempted to detain the subjects who fled the area leading officers on a brief foot chase. Two of the male subjects were caught and determined to be juveniles and the third subject was not located. The two detained male juveniles were issued citations for curfew violation and processed for evading arrest and detention and released to the custody of a family members.
Sunday, August 26, 2018, 4:12 AM: Eagle Pass Police Officers responded to an apartment complex within the 2100 block of Del Rio Boulevard in regards to a domestic disturbance. Investigating officers spoke with a female who informed them she had been assaulted by her boyfriend during an argument which had escalated into physical violence. 25-year-old Ricardo Cedillo was placed under arrest and later presented before a magistrate where he was formally charged with assault of a family member and remanded to the Tom Bowles Detention Center in lieu of a $2000 bond.
Sunday, August 26, 2018, 4:44 AM: Eagle Pass Police Officers responded to a reported fight in progress within the 2000 block of Granjeno Drive. Investigating officers spoke with a female complainant who informed of several actors which had arrived at her residence during a gathering and started a fight with a guest. Investigating officers spoke with two male subjects at the residence who were found to be consuming alcoholic beverages and were under the Texas legal age to doing so. Both subjects were issued citations for possession of alcohol by a minor and consumption of alcohol by a minor. During the course of the investigation one of the male subjects identified as 18-year-old Ramon Hernandez was discovered to be in possession of a usable amount of marijuana and was placed under arrest. Hernandez was later presented before a magistrate and formally charged with possession of marijuana and remanded to the Tom Bowles Detention Center in lieu of a $2000 bond.
