Five Candidates Register for Two Maverick County Hospital District Board Positions in November 2018 Election

A total of five candidates registered for two positions in the Maverick County Hospital District Board of Trustees general election to be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, announced Maverick County Hospital District Chief Executive Officer Terri Contreras-Patlan.
Registering as candidates are current Maverick County Hospital District Board Chariman Adolfo Olivares, Jr. and Board of Trustee Ronald Hixson together with former Board of Trustee Humberto Duran, Aaron Eduardo Valdez, and Joaquin Menchaca.
The two top vote getters among the five candidates in the November 6th General Election will be elected to the Maverick County Hospital District Board of Trustees.
Early voting for the November 6th Election will begin on October 22nd and run through November 2nd with Election Day on Tuesday, November 6th.
The Maverick County Hospital District Board of Trustees is currently composed of Chairman Adolfo Olivares, Jr., Vice-Chairman Jesus Casas, Secretary-Treasurer Rebecca Robinson and Board members Ronald Hixson and Juan Manuel Farias.
The Maverick County Hospital District was created in 1965 as a pubic entity to provide hospital and medical care to Maverick County indigent and needy residents.
