Eagle Pass BEDC YPG-ELM Leadership Conference to be held September 12

(Eagle Pass, TX) The City of Eagle Pass Business & Economic Development Committee (BEDC) will hold a Leadership Conference for its Young Professionals Group (YPG) and the Executive Leaders Mentorship (ELM) Program on September 12, at Laughlin Air Force Base.

The conference is free and will include: team building, goal setting, program development, leadership skills, and a tour of Laughlin Air Force Base.   

The BEDC launched its YPG and ELM program last Spring in an effort to retain and develop local talent.  Since then, both groups have conducted several professional development workshops, and have elected officers to lead the Young Professionals Group.

The YPG-ELM Leadership Conference will be led by United Medical Center’s CEO William Worrell, who serves at the YPG President. 

“I am excited about this leadership conference and I encourage all professionals who is interested in joining our group to attend this conference,” says William Worrell, BEDC YPG President.  The YPG and ELM programs have activities scheduled throughout the rest of the year and support all BEDC activities.
