Eagle Pass Eagles Drop District 29-6A Football Opener to Laredo United Longhorns 39-20

The mighty Eagle Pass High School Eagles dropped a heartbreaker to the Laredo United High School Longhorns 39-20 in both teams District 29-6A football game opener on Friday, September 28, 2018, at Laredo, Texas.

The Eagles battled to a 20-16 lead at halftime, but the Longhorns made adjustments in the second half and scored 23 unanswered points while shutting out the potent Eagles offense to garner the important District 29-6A victory.

The Eagles suffer first season loss and now are 4-1 overall in the season and 0-1 in District 29-6A standings.
