Mexican Consulate and City of Eagle Pass to Celebrate Mexico’s 208th Independence Day Anniversary on September 15th at San Juan Plaza

Mexican Consulate Ismael Naveja Macias and the City of Eagle Pass, Texas are hosting a beautiful Commemorative Celebration of Mexico’s 208th Independence Day Anniversary (September 16th) with a family-oriented, fun filled event on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 6 P.M. at historic San Juan Plaza in downtown Eagle Pass.
The September 15th Celebration will feature a live Mariachi Band, a Mexican Folklore Dance Group, music, singers, entertainers, food booths, activity booths, and “El Grito de Dolores” (The Independence Proclamation) to be done by Mexican Consul Ismael Naveja Macias.
The City of Eagle Pass Parks and Recreation Department is collaborating with the Mexican Consulate Office in Eagle Pass to present an outstanding program for all citizens who attend this annual tradition in the community.
The 16 de Septiembre (September 16th) Celebration is open to the public and admission is free, except for the food booths that will be selling the finest Mexican food and antojitos to the most discriminating food consumers.
All citizens from Eagle Pass, Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, and surrounding areas of Quemado, El Indio, Del Rio, Brackettville, Uvalde, La Pryor, Crystal City, Batesville, Carrizo Springs, and Asherton are welcome to attend this beautiful annual Mexican Independence Day Commermorative Celebration on Saturday, September 15th, at 6 P.M. at San Juan Plaza in downtown Eagle Pass.
