Eagle Pass BEDC To Hold Nonprofit Partnership Workshop This Wednesday,
(Eagle Pass, TX – October 1, 2018) The Eagle Pass BEDC will hold a Nonprofit Partnership Workshop on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., at the International Center for Trade (East Room).
This month’s workshop will include a training session on “Executive Board Development.” The BEDC Nonprofit Partnership held its kick-off on August 22.
The Eagle Pass BEDC Nonprofit Partnership serves as a bridge between the business community and nonprofit groups. The partnership will assist nonprofits by: creating awareness about services and mission of local nonprofits, provide community service opportunities, support organizational governance, connecting businesses and nonprofits, support BEDC initiatives, and serve as link between city government and nonprofits.
City of Eagle Pass Consultant Ernie Gonzalez previously served as a Chief Operating Officer for the Boy Scouts of America in San Antonio and El Paso and held senior leadership positions with the Boy Scouts in Washington, DC, and the Rio Grande Valley. Gonzalez has extensive experience in nonprofit management and total fund development.

The Eagle Pass BEDC Nonprofit Partnership will hold ongoing workshops throughout the year to help strengthen local nonprofit organizations.
