Aaron E. Valdez and Adolfo “Fito” Olivares Win Maverick County Hospital District Board of Directors Election

A total of four candidates ran for the two Maverick County Hospital District Board of Directors positions with Aaron E. Valdez receiving the highest vote total with 4,298 and incumbent Board President Adolfo “Fito” Olivares obtaining the second most votes with 3,781 to earn a seat on the local Hospital District Board, respectively. 

Also running competitively in the Hospital District Board of Directors election, incumbent Board Member Dr. Ronald Hixson garnered 2,367 votes while Joaquin “Jacky” Menchaca received 1,834 to place third and fourth, respectively, but falling short of being re-elected or elected.

Valdez and Olivares will join Maverick County Hospital District Board of Directors Rebecca Robinson, Juan Manuel “Chuco” Farias, and Jesus Casas on the local Hospital District Board.
