Investiture and Oath of Office for 293rd Judicial District Court Judge Maribel Flores to be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 10 A.M.

The official Investiture and Administration of the Oath of Office for 293rd Judicial District Court Judge Maribel Flores will be held at a public ceremony on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at 10 A.M. at the 293rd Judicial District Courtroom, 500 Quarry Street (Second Floor), Eagle Pass, Texas, announced State Representative Alfonso “Poncho” Nevarez.
The ceremony is open to the public and the public is cordially invited to attend, Nevarez said.
Nevarez will be the Master of Ceremony of the Investiture and Administration of the Oath of Office Program of District Judge Maribel Flores.
The presentation of colors will be performed by the Eagle Pass Police Department Color Guard, the Pledge of Allegiance will be recited by the children of Judge Flores-Cgc Alverto Ritchie and Madison Ytzel Ritchie, the Invocation will be performed by Reverend James M. Fee, OMI, of Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church, Opening Remarks will be presented by Obie Salinas, the Presentation of the Bible will be done by Judge Flores’ spouse, Cgc Ritchie, the Oath of Office will be administered by the Honorable Amado J. Abascal, III, of the 365th Judicial District Court, the Enrobing of Judge Flores will be done by her parents, Rogelio and Juanita Flores, and the Blessing of Judge Flores will be performed by Reverend James M. Fee, O.M.I.
Following the Investiture and Oath of Office ceremony, a reception will be held at The Venue by Lili’s, located at 663 Quarry Street, Eagle Pass, Texas.
