Maverick County Oath of Office Ceremony to be held on Tuesday, January 1, 2019

Ten Maverick County-elected public officials will be sworn-in and administered their Oaths of Office at a special ceremony to be held on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at 2 P.M. at the 293rd Judicial District Court (Second Floor) of the Maverick County Courthouse, 500 Quarry Street, Eagle Pass, Texas, announced Maverick County Judge David R. Saucedo.
The Oath of Office will be administered at the January 1st ceremony to the following public officials who were either elected or re-elected at the recent November 6, 2018 General Election: 365th Judicial District Judge Amado J. Abascal, III, Maverick County Judge David R. Saucedo, Maverick County District Clerk Leopoldo Vielma, Maverick County Treasurer Rito J. Valdez, III, Maverick County Commissioner Precinct 2 Rosy L. Cantu, Maverick County Commissioner Precinct 4 Roberto Ruiz, Maverick County Justice of the Peace Precinct 1 Kina Mancha, Maverick County Justice of the Peace Precinct 2 Rosanna “Roxi” Rios, Maverick County Justice of the Peace Prcecint 3-1 Domingo “Mingo” Rodriguez, and Maverick County Justice of the Peace Precinct 4 Tere Hernandez.
The Oath of Office Ceremony is open to the public and the public is cordially invited to attend the ceremony.
