Eagle Pass Independent School District’s Piggy Gram Collection Raises $13,825 for 2019 Maverick County Junior Livestock Show

The Eagle Pass Independent School District Superintendent Gilberto Gonzalez presented a check to the Maverick County Junior Livestock Show Associaiton Board President Tim Hardt for the amount of $13,825 as a donation for the 2019 Piggy Gram Collection among local schools, students, and teachers benefitting the 2019 Maverick County Junior Livestock Show at a ceremony held at the Maverick County Junior Livestock Show Jesus “Chuy” Sanchez Memorial Community Cowboy Breakfast held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019.
In the Early Childhood Division, the Language Development Center raised a total of $2,841, followed by Kennedy Learning Center with $2,005, and the Early Childhood Center with $1,119.
In the Elementary School Division, the Perfecto Mancha Elementary School raised a total of $2,084, followed by Graves Elementary with $718, Henry B. Gonzalez Elementary with $545, Glass Elementary with $509.25, Seco Mines Elementary with $410, Liberty Elementary with $365, Robert E. Lee Elementary with $305.15, Rosita Valley Elementary with $210.33, Pete Gallego Elementary with $205, Armando Cerna Elementary with $186, Ray Darr Elementary with $76, and San Luis Elementary with $6.
In the Secondary School Division, Eagle Pass Junior High School raised a total of $1,000, followed Memorial Junior High School with $905, C.C. Winn High School Silverline Dancers with $200, Eagle Pass High School with $74, District Service Center with $40, and the Parent Center with $20.
Maverick County Junior Livestock Show Board President Tim Hardt thanked all the Eagle Pass Independent School District campuses, students, parents, and teachers for this significant $13,825 Piggy Gram Collection Donatio to benefit Eagle Pass Independent School District 4-H and FFA students participating in the 2019 Maverick County Junior Livestock Show and Sale.
