Eagle Pass BEDC Young Professionals Group Celebrate Anniversary
(Eagle Pass, TX – February 28, 2019) The Eagle Pass Young Professionals Group (YPG) celebrated its one-year anniversary on February 21, at the Rancho Steak Bar & Grill.
The YPG falls under the umbrella of the City of Eagle Pass Business & Economic Development Committee (BEDC), and its Labor Workforce & Training Committee.
The YPG is aimed at retaining and developing local professional talent and is open to all working professionals.
The group hosted members of the Eagle Pass High School Business Professionals of America and held a presentation on developing a 5-year plan.
YPG President Victoria Garza welcomed all attendees and discussed goals and upcoming monthly program activities. Eagle Pass High School Work-based Learning Coordinator Rachel Sahagun, who serves as the YPG lead mentor, thanked attendees and stressed the importance of the Young Professionals Group as it contributes to the development of the local labor workforce.
