Eight Eagle Pass Winn Lady Mavericks Named to 2019 District 28-5A All-District Basketball Team

Eagle Pass C. C. Winn High School Lady Mavericks Head Basketball Coach Fred Paniagua announced that eight Lady Maverick players were named to the 2019 District 28-5A All-District Basketball Team as voted upon all of the District Head Girls Basketball Coaches.

Named to the elite 2019 District 28-5A All-District Basketball First Team was Ashley Cruz while teammate Destiny Suke was named to the prestigious Second Team.

Receiving recognition on the Honorable Mention Team were Lady Mavericks Aislee Salazar, Andrea Aldape, and Susanna Guerra.

In addition, Lady Mavericks Ruby Estrada, Ashley Cruz, and Susanna Guerra were named to the talented All-District Academic Team for their outstanding academic and athletic performance during the 2018-2019 season.

Coach Paniagua congratulates all of his eight Lady Maverick players named to the 2019 District 28-5A All-District Basketball Team and wishes them success in all of their future endeavors. Go Lady Mavericks!
