Eagle Pass Winn Lady Mavericks Softball fall to San Antonio Edison Lady Bears 8-4 in Game 2 of Bi-District Championship, Eliminated from Playoffs

The thundering Eagle Pass Winn High School Lady Mavericks Softball Team fell to the San Antonio Edison High School Lady Bears 8-4 in Game 2 of their best of three series on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at the San Antonio Independent School District Softball Complex in San Antonio, Texas, eliminating the Lady Mavericks from the state playoffs and ending their 2019 season.

The Lady Mavericks battled the Lady Bears valiantly, but a couple of errors by the Lady Mavericks allowed the Lady Bears to score some unearned runs. The Lady Mavericks rally fell short and succumbed to the Lady Bears for the second consecutive game, falling 10-9 in Game 1 on April 26th.

The Lady Mavericks enjoyed a good season and represented themselves, school, and community very well throughout the season.
