Eagle Pass Eagles Swept by McAllen Bulldogs in Bi-District Championship

The mighty Eagle Pass High School Eagles were swept in two consecutive hard fought games by the McAllen High School Bulldogs in the 2019 UIL Baseball Region IV-6A Bi-District Championship during May 3-4, 2019 at Laredo, Texas.
GAME 1
The Eagles and the Bulldogs battled for seven innings with the score tied at 1-1 after regulation play and went into four extra innings in the 11th to decide the outcome of this thrilling playoff game with the Bulldogs coming out ahead by the slim margin of 2-1 on Friday, May 3rd, at the Laredo United ISD Student Activity Complex Baseball Stadium in Laredo, Texas.
GAME 2
The Eagles valiantly fought to even the best of three series in Game 2 against the McAllen Bulldogs on Saturday, May 4th, at Laredo United ISD Krueger Baseball Park, but their rally fell short as the Bulldogs edged the Eagles by the score of 5-2, eliminating the Eagles from the 2019 Texas High School Baseball Playoffs after enjoying a great season.
