Eagle Pass Winn Mavericks Clawed By San Antonio Harlan Hawks 45-16

The Eagle Pass Winn Mavericks were clawed by the visiting and District 14-5A, Division I leading San Antonio Harlan Hawks 45-16 in a key District game on Friday, October 18, 2019, at the Eagle Pass Independent School District Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium in Eagle Pass, Texas, dropping to 1-3 in District and 3-5 overall in the season.

Although the Mavericks valiantly fought throughout the game, the Hawks team speed was too much for the Mavericks to handle. The Mavericks will regroup next week during bye week and prepare for their final two District and regular season games in hopes of qualifying for the post-season playoffs.
