Border Patrol Agents Encounter Unresponsive Woman

(Press Release) An unresponsive woman encountered by Border Patrol agents near Eagle Pass, was transported to the hospital, Oct. 31.
“Agents continue to apprehend individuals with preexisting medical conditions,” said Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agent Raul L. Ortiz. “Thankfully, the swift response of agents helped save the woman’s life.”
At approximately 9:15 a.m., an agent assigned to the Eagle Pass Station was performing line watch duties when he encountered a group of five. While walking the individuals to his service vehicle, an adult female became unresponsive. Agents immediately notified emergency personnel and the woman was transported to the local hospital via ambulance.
The Honduran woman, who was traveling with her two children, ages 6 and 17, was treated and released from Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center. The family unit will be processed as per CBP guidelines.
