Eagle Pass City Special Officers Election is Saturday, February 1st

With the Early Voting Period of January 15-28, 2020 ended, Eagle Pass citizens still have one day left of voting to elect a new City Mayor and two City Council Members on Saturday, February 1, 2020, from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. at the Multi-Purpose Center, located at 480 South Adams Street, in Fort Duncan Park. All Eagle Pass registered voters are encouraged to come out and cast their ballots for the candidates of their choice.
Seeking to become the new Mayor of Eagle Pass are City Council Members Luis E. Sifuentes and Rudy Villapando. Both candidates have been busy canvassing the community for votes and one of them will be elected this Saturday, February 1st, as the new Mayor of Eagle Pass.
For City Council Place 2, three candidates are vying for this position, including Elizabeth Chisum De La Garza, Elias Diaz, and Frank “Franky” Sanchez. One of them will be elected as the new City Council Place 2 Member.
For City Council Place 4, two candidates seek this position, including local attorney Rolando Salinas and Mario “Mayito” Obregon. One will most definitely be elected as the new City Council Place 4 Member.
The candidates invite all Eagle Pass registered voters to exercise their right to vote at the Saturday, February 1st, City Special Officers Election being held at the Multi-Purpose. All local citizens are encouraged to come out and make a difference by voting for the candidates of their choice.
With this City Special Officers Election, the Eagle Pass City Council will have a new majority representing the taxpayers in all of the important policy decisions regarding the present and future of Eagle Pass. Your vote is your voice.
