German A. De Luna Romo Graduates from
Texas A & M University

Texas A & M University President Michael K. Young announced German Artemio De Luna Romo of Eagle Pass, Texas graduated on December 11, 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and Construction Science at a commencement ceremony held at Reed Arena in College Station, Texas.
De Luna Romo is the son of Bertha De Luna Romo of Eagle Pass and a graduate of C. C. Winn High School Class of 2016. De Luna Romo graduated with highest honors from C. C. Winn High School and lettered two years in varsity football and track and field while being a member of the National Honor Society.
De Luna Romo received his Bachelor of Science degree from the prestigious Zachary Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Texas A & M University. While at Texas A & M University, De Luna Romo was a member of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers and participated in intramural sports including football, softball, kickball, and volleyball.
Accompanying De Luna Romo at the December 11, 2020 Commencement Ceremony were his mother, Bertha De Luna Romo, his sister, Daniela De Luna Olivares, and brothers, Pablo De Luna and Kevin De Luna. Following the Commencement Ceremony, De Luna Romo celebrated his graduation with dinner at a local restaurant in Bryan, Texas with his family.
De Luna Romo was drawn to civil engineering and construction science since a young student in Eagle Pass while attending local public schools, being always intrigued on how highways, streets, and buildings were designed and constructed. He thanks his beloved mother, Bertha De Luna Romo, for always encouraging him to pursue his dreams and supporting him through his academic studies. He also appreciates the support he received from his siblings, Daniela, Pablo, and Kevin as well as all of his teachers, counselors, and coaches in Eagle Pass.
De Luna Romo is currently interviewing with civil engineering firms in Texas and looks forward to joining the civil engineering and construction science industry. Gig Em!
