In Loving Memory of Billy Maurice Perry
Mr. Billy Maurice Perry of Quemado, Texas passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021.
Billy was born on May 14, 1927 in Lamesa, Texas to Charles Eli Perry and Lois Maurine Pemberton Perry.
Billy served our country in the United States Navy. In his earlier years Billy was a barber with his brothers and later a very well known and educated pecan farmer. Billy’s heart was in Quemado, Texas and he drove to the post office to get his newspaper daily. He enjoyed talking and eating with friends.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lois; wife, Virginia; brothers, Charles, Wendell, and Gary; sisters, Elizabeth and Sandra. His granddaughter, Annette Jones, also preceded him.
Surviving family include brother Jack (Ada) Perry, sister Renee (Richard) Logston; daughter Marylou Romero; grandchildren Patricia (Stacey) Corley, George (Raquel) Romero; great-grandchildren Justin (Iris) Jones, Jacob Jones, Cassius and Paris Corley, George Jr. and Isabella Romero; great- great grandchildren Jett, Titus & Alli Jones; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held on Monday, February 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Valley Cemetary in Quemado, Texas.
