Maverick County Celebrates 150th Anniversary with Musical Concert on December 16-17

Maverick County Judge David R. Saucedo announced a two-days musical celebration of Maverick County’s 150th Anniversary on December 16-17, 2021 from 6 p.m. to 12 p.m. at the Maverick County Lake in Eagle Pass, Texas, featuring Sonora Dinamita and Duelo recording bands.
On Thursday, December 16, Sonora Dinamita will headline the musical entertainment lineup and on Friday, December 17, Duelo will headline the show.
Admission to the two day 150th Anniversary Celebration is free and open to the public. Food, refreshments, and beer booths will be available for guests attending the Celebration. No outside food, refreshments, and beer will be allowed to be brought into Maverick County Lake except official booth vendors.
County Judge Saucedo encourages the public to come out and enjoy the two-day musical celebration.
Earlier this month, the Maverick County Courthouse, located at 500 Quarry Street, in Eagle Pass was named after former County Judge Ramon Saucedo and the historic Maverick County Courthouse at 501 E. Main Street was named after former County Judge Roberto Bibb.
In addition, the Maverick County Finance Center was named after former County Tax Assessor-Collector Esteban Luna and former County Treasurer Manuel Reyes.
