Cowboy Breakfast Kicks-Off 2022 Maverick County Jr. Livestock Show and Sale

Maverick County Jr. Livestock Show Association President Tim Hardt announced the Jesus “Chuy” Sanchez Community Cowboy Breakfast on Friday, January 14, 2022, at 7 a.m. at the Zan Mathies Show Barn at the Maverick County Lake in Eagle Pass, Texas kicks-off the 2022 Maverick County Jr. Livestock Show and Sale.
The Cowboy Breakfast is being held in collaboration with the Eagle Pass Chamber of Commerce and the Eagle Pass Independent School District, said Hardt.
Tickets for the hearty, fun-filled Cowboy Breakfast are available at the Eagle Pass Chamber of Commerce, 400 Garrison Street, at a cost of $10 for advance sale and $12 at the door. All proceeds will benefit the 2022 Maverick County Junior Livestock Show and Sale.
Entertainment at the Cowboy Breakfast will be provided by local bands and Eagle Pass Independent School District high school mariachi bands.
The Jesus “Chuy” Sanchez Community Cowboy Breakfast has grown into a tradition of kicking-off the annual Maverick County Jr. Livestock Show and Sale where local elementary, junior high, and high school students exhibit animals they have raised for the past couple of months and present at the show.
The Cowboy Breakfast is named in honor of former Maverick County Jr. Livestock Show Association President and Volunteer extraordinaire Jesus “Chuy” Sanchez who for many years dedicated his leadership, talent, and skills in organizing, managing, and promoting the annual Maverick County Jr. Livestock Show benefitting thousands of local youths. During his tenure, Sanchez and his Board of Directors expanded the activities and opportunities for local youths to participate in the Maverick County Jr. Livestock Show while gaining valuable personal and educational experiences.
Hardt encourages local businesses, entrepreneurs, and citizens to attend the Cowboy Breakfast and register to become a Buyer at the Maverick County Jr. Livestock Show Sale on January 22, 2022 at 11:30 a.m.
The 2022 Maverick County Jr. Livestock Show and Sale will be held during Monday, January 17, through Saturday, January 22, at the Zan Mathies Show Barn at the Maverick County Lake in Eagle Pass, Texas. The Cowboy Breakfast is open to the public with the purchase of a ticket of admission.
