Maverick County’s First Baby Born in 2022 is a Healthy Girl

Shortly after the start of the new year on January 1, 2022, Maverick County registered the birth of its first baby of 2022 at 4:51 a.m. weighing 7 pounds and 2 ounces, a healthy girl named Tatyana Alessia Ruiz, born to Blanca Cadena and Porfirio Ruiz of Eagle Pass, Texas at the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center in Eagle Pass, Texas.
Eagle Pass Mayor Rolando Salinas, Jr. welcomed the new baby, Tatyana Alessia Ruiz, into the world with a beautiful gift basket presented to the parents, Blanca Cadena and Porfirio Ruiz.
Local physician Dr. Carlos E. Hernandez delivered the beautiful baby girl at the local hospital and proudly presented the first baby of 2022 to her excited mother and father.
Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center nurses and staff also congratulated the new parents on the birth of their baby girl, Tatyana.
