Early Voting To Be Held Saturday and Sunday, February 19-20 at Multi-Purpose Center

The Texas March 1, 2022 Primary Election for both Democratic and Republican parties is currently underway with Early Voting period as a special Saturday and Sunday voting day will be held on February 19-20, 2022 at the Eagle Pass Multi-Purpose Center, 480 S. Adams Street, in Eagle Pass, Texas, announced Juanita V. Martinez, Maverick County Democratic Party Chairperson.
Early Voting on Saturday, February 19, will be held from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Multi-Purpose Center to allow Maverick County voters a full and convenient 12 hour voting period to cast their ballots.
On Sunday, February 20, a special Election Day will be held at the Multi-Purpose Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for voters unable to vote during the weekdays or Saturday.
Martinez encourages all registered Maverick County voters to come out and exercise their right to vote to make a difference in local, state, and national government offices.
Martinez added that the Maverick County Elections Administration Office has made it very easy and simple for voters to cast their ballots during the Early Voting Period of February 14-25 at the Multi-Purpose Center. Voting is taking five to ten minutes and is safe and secure.
Maverick County has over 33,000 registered voters. The goal is to have up to 50% of registered voters cast a ballot in the March 1 Primary Election.
There is plenty of parking space available for local voters participating in Early Voting at the Multi-Purpose Center. Bring your partner, significant other, mother and father, brothers and sisters, adult children, and friends to vote this Saturday or Sunday, February 19-20, and bring an Identification Card to vote.
