Victor Raul Gonzalez June 23, 1945 – March 25, 2022

Victor Raul Gonzalez, age 76, beloved and loving
husband, father, brother, grandfather, brother-in-law,
and friend, entered eternal rest on March 25, 2022, in
San Antonio, TX. He was born on June 23, 1945, in
Zaragoza, Coahuila.

Victor is preceded in death by his parents, Alfonso
Rivera Gonzalez and Josefa Galindo Gonzalez, and
sister, Choco Gonzalez Meza. He is survived by his
loving wife of 14 years, Grace (Alejandro) Gonzalez;
his children, Victor Raul Gonzalez Jr, Mendy Gonzalez
Escamilla, Mark Anthony Gonzalez, son-in-law Homer
Escamilla, and his beloved granddaughter Siena
Gonzalez. Escamilla; siblings Roberto Gonzalez (Ana
Barrientos), Elva Benavidez (Roberto Benavidez),
Alfonso Gonzalez (Norma mana); brother-in-law
Daniel Meza, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Victor was a retired business owner and bus operator
for 36 years where he touched many lives. He loved his
family dearly and he loved to keep in touch by phone if
he was not able to physically check on his family
members and lifelong friends. He enjoyed cooking for
his family and made the best salsa and borracho beans.
He loved watching boxing, western movies, music
from the 50’s and mariachi music. He will be greatly
missed by all who loved him and whose lives he
touched.

Viewing will be Tuesday March 29, 2022, from 10am –
1:30pm at Yeager Barrera Mortuary, 1613 Del Rio
Blvd, Eagle Pass, TX 78852. Mass will be held at 2pm
at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 800 N. Comal St.
Eagle Pass, TX 78852. Burial immediately following at
Catholic Cemetery.
