Beto O’Rourke to Campaign in Eagle Pass on September 3, 2022

Texas Democratic Party nominee for Governor, Beto O’Rourke, will visit Eagle Pass and Maverick County as part of his statewide 49 Days Drive for Texas campaign tour on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 10 a.m. at the City of Eagle Pass Mulit-Purpose Center, 480 South Adams Street, Eagle Pass, Texas, announced Juanita V. Martinez, Maverick County Democratic Party Chairperson.
Beto O’Rourke, a fellow Texan from the border city of El Paso, Texas, has captured the imagination and enthusiasm of Texans of all ages who seek new leadership and vision to improve the quality of life, education, and future of this great state instead of continuing with the broken leadership of Governor Abbott who has failed to fix the electricity grid of Texas, increased ad valorem property taxes and property appraisals, denied a woman’s choice over her reproductive and healthcare rights, failed to provide adequate funding for public education, denied Medicaid expansion to millions of Texans, devastated the Texas Juvenile Justice Department, mismanaged the Texas Department of Family Protective Services, ransacked the Texas General Fund to pay for over $4 Billion on Border Security to promote his re-election campaign and future Presidential campaign in 2024, failed to protect Texans from mass killings such as Sutherland Springs, El Paso Walmart, Santa Fe High School, and Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Texas, implemented voter suppression laws, gerrymandered political redistricting maps, and denied the majority of Texans the right to elect a public government representative of Texas, and the list goes on and on.
Texans of all ages, walks of life, and political affiliations have attended Beto O’Rourke’s 49 Days Drive for Texas Campaign rallies by the thousands to listen to and personally witness the need for change in Texas is this November 8, 2022 General Election, starting with registering to vote, cast one’s ballot during the Early Voting Period from October 24 through November 4, 2022 or during Election Day on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.
