Last Day to Register for Eagle Pass Independent School District School Board and Maverick County Hospital District Board of Director Seats is August 22, 2022

The last day to register as a candidate in the November 8, 2022 General Election for both the Eagle Pass Independent School District Board of Trustee and the Maverick County Hospital District Board of Director seats is on Monday, August 22, 2022 at 5 p.m.
The Eagle Pass Independent School District Board of Trustees have three seats up for election in the November 8, 2022 General Election. Any individual interested in filing an application for a place on the Eagle Pass ISD Board of Trustees Election on November 8 may file it at the District’s Administrative Office located at 587 Madison Street from Monday through Friday until Monday, August 22, 2022 at 5 p.m. There is no candidate registration fee required.
The Maverick County Hospital District Board of Directors have two seats up for election in the November 8, 2022 General Election. Any individual interested in filing an application for a place on the Maverick County Hospital District Board of Directors Election may file it at the District’s Office located at 3406 Bob Rogers Drive, Suite 230, Eagle Pass, Texas. There is no candidate registration fee required.
In the Eagle Pass Independent School District Board of Trustees three places on the ballot, all three incumbents have registered for re-election including Lupita Fuentes, Victor E. Perry, Jr., and Hilda P. Martinez.
Likewise, in the Maverick County Hospital District Board of Directors two seats on the ballot, both incumbents have registered for re-election including Adolfo “Fito” Olivares and Aaron Valdez.
Both the Eagle Pass ISD School Board and the Maverick County Hospital District Board of Directors are important boards in the community that make policy decisions on education, healthcare, and the financial budgets of each entity that affect local taxpayers through ad valorem taxes.
