Maverick County Officials Oath of Office and Investiture Ceremony to be held January 1st

Maverick County Officials elected or re-elected at the November 8, 2022 General Election will take their official Oaths of Office and Investitures (judges only) at a ceremony scheduled on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at 1 p.m. at the steps of the Maverick County Courthouse, 500 Quarry Street, Eagle Pass, Texas, including newly-elected Maverick County Judge Ramsey English Cantu.
Maverick County Officials who are scheduled to take their official Oaths of Office and Investitures (judges only) include 293rd Judicial District Court Judge Maribel Flores, 365th Judicial District Court Judge Amado J. Abascal, III, Maverick County Judge Ramsey English Cantu, Maverick County Commissioner Precinct 2 Rosanna “Roxi” Rios, Maverick County Commissioner Precinct 4 Roberto Ruiz, Maverick County District Clerk Leopoldo “Polo” Vielma, Maverick County Clerk Sara Montemayor, Maverick County Treasurer Rito J. Valdez, Maverick County Justice of the Peace Precinct 1 Kina Mancha, Maverick County Justice of the Peace Precinct 2 Ernie Leija, Maverick County Justice of the Peace Precinct 3AB Domingo Rodriguez, Jr., Maverick County Justice of the Peace Precinct 3C Jeannie F. Smith, Maverick County Justice of the Peace Precinct 4 Tere Hernandez, and Maverick County Tax Assessor-Collector Asalia Casares.
The ceremony is open to the public and a reception will follow the ceremony for all attendees. The public is cordially invited to attend the ceremony as it will be outdoors on the steps of the Maverick County Courthouse.
