City of Eagle Pass Main Street Program to Host Downtown Event

Eagle Pass, TX – City of Eagle Pass Mayor Rolando Salinas, Jr., and the City Council would like to invite the public to attend the “Bidi Bidi Block Party” event scheduled for Saturday, March 11, 2023. The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. and end at 9:00 p.m. The block party will be held on the 300 and 400 blocks of Main Street in downtown Eagle Pass.
The Bidi Bidi Block Party will include fun filled friendly activities for the entire family. Some of the activities include a Selena exhibit at the Arts and Culture Center, live music, Selena Look-A-Like Contest, a car show and many more. There will also be different food vendors at the downtown event.
“The “Bidi Bidi Block Party” was created to bring families together to visit the downtown district and enjoy an evening with many different activities,” said City of Eagle Pass Mayor Rolando Salinas, Jr. “The fun filled event is expected to attract many families into the downtown area.”
“The City of Eagle Pass is committed to continue to host events in the heart of downtown that will attract visitors to our city,” said Ivan Morua, Acting City Manager. “We would like to thank our Economic Development Department Staff for all of their hard work in planning this event.”
