13 Eagle Pass High School Eagles Earn 2023 District 30-6A All-District Baseball Team Honors

The Eagle Pass High School Eagles Baseball Team garnered a total of 13 players named to one or more 2023 District 30-6A All-District Team Honors, announced Reynol Mendoza, Eagles Head Baseball Coach.
Named as the 2023 Newcomer of the Year was Eagles sophomore right-handed pitcher Hector Buentello.
Named as 2023 District 30-6A All-District First Team are senior right-handed pitcher Donovan Becerra, senior outfielder Issac Stanwick, senior shortstop Robert De La Garza, senior second baseman Luis Kancheff, senior first baseman Derek Ruiz, senior outfielder Aidan Lopez, senior right-handed pitcher Alexander Paniagua, and junior designated hitter Izhar Mauricio.
Named to the 2023 District 30-6A All-District Honorable Mention Team are senior third baseman Tavare Chavez and sophomore outfielder Mikey Kypuros.
Named to the 2023 District 30-6A All-Academic Team are Jose Duran, Omar Rodriguez, Isaac Stanwick, Tavare Chavez, Robert De La Garza, Luis Kancheff, and Aidan Lopez.
Named as the 2023 District 30-6A Coach of the Year is Eagles Head Baseball Coach Reynol Mendoza.
The Eagle Pass Eagles enjoyed a stellar 2023 season with a 27-12 overall record and a 9-1 District 30-6A record, garnering the District 30-6A Championship, Bi-District Championship, Area Championship, Regional Quarterfinals Championship, and Regional Semifinalists.
