Eagle Pass Man Allegedly Shot and Killed by Brother
The Maverick County Sheriff’s Department had just finished announcing on Monday, May 1, 2023, of the murder of an 18 year old teen in Eagle Pass, Texas, when they received another telephone call of a deceased male body in Loma Bonita Subdivision in Eagle Pass with a gunshot wound, too.
A 36 year old Eagle Pass man, Javier Solis, was found deceased from gunshot at a residence on Loma Bonita Subdivision on Tuesday, May 2, 2023.
Surprisingly, law enforcement authorities arrested the brother of the deceased victim, Juan Fabian Solis, age 39, also of Eagle Pass for the alleged murder of his brother.
Juan Fabian Solis was out on a bond of $1 million for a different case charging him with the murder of Jose C. Duron in 2022.
Juan Fabian Solis is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Maverick County Chief Deputy Roberto De Leon stated that the two back to back murder cases in Maverick County are not related.
The murder case is under investigation by the Maverick County Sheriff’s Department and the Texas Rangers.
Maverick County citizens are alarmed by the recent wave of gun violence cases reported in the community.
