Eagle Pass Celebrates 4th of July with Stars and Stripes Jam Festival and Fireworks

All across the United States, Americans will celebrate the 247th Anniversary of its Independence Day on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, including the City of Eagle Pass who is hosting a patriotic 4th of July Stars and Stripes Parade at 10 a.m. and a star-studded Stars and Stripes music jam festival at 6:45 p.m. followed by a red, white, and blue fireworks display at 10 p.m. at Shelby Park on the banks of the Rio Grande River.
A traditional, patriotic Independence Day Parade will be held at 10 a.m. on the 4th of July, 2023 starting at the historic San Juan Plaza and traveling down through Jefferson Street, then turning left on Main Street through downtown and ending at Ceylon and Main Streets. All individuals, groups, organizations, schools, or bands desiring to march in the 4th of July Stars and Stripes Parade may register with the Eagle Pass Parks and Recreation Department at 480 S. Adams Street or contact them at (830) 773-4343. Bring the entire family to enjoy the Stars and Stripes 4th of July Parade.
The City of Eagle Pass will host its annual Stars and Stripes Jam on the 4th of July, 2023 at Shelby Park in downtown Eagle Pass on the banks of the Rio Grande starting at 6:45 p.m. with live music featuring local bands followed by a star-studded lineup of recording artists including La Calma, Jay Perez, and Gary Hobbs.
The Eagle Pass City Council will host a 4th of July Ceremony at 9:30 p.m. at the Stars and Stripes Jam in Shelby Park followed by a patriotic fireworks display sponsored by H. E. B.
The Stars and Stripes Jam will also feature food and refreshments vendors, games, and activities for the entire family. The event is open to the public. No outside food or drinks will be allowed at the venue. Y’all come out and celebrate the 4th of July Independence Day in grand style wearing red, white, and blue fashion wear and accessories.
