The mighty Eagle Pass Babe Ruth Baseball 13 Year Old All-Stars clinched first place in Pool Play at the 2023 Babe Ruth Baseball 13 Year Old World Series on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, with a 3-1 overall record and edging two other teams in their Pool with identical records based on the least number of runs scored against them by opponents, punching their ticket to the World Series Semifinals Championship against Tallahassee-Leon, Florida, who defeated host Glen Allen, Virginia 6-4, on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 3 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (2 p.m. Central Standard Time) in Glen Allen, Virginia.
The winner will advance to the World Series Championship Game on Saturday, August 18, 2023 at 12 Noon Eastern Standard Time (11 a.m. Central Standard Time) against the winner between Altoona, Pennsylvania versus Oahu, Hawaii in the other Semifinal Championship game.
