Eagle Pass High School Graduation Set on Saturday, May 24th

The Eagle Pass High School Eagles Class of 2025 graduation ceremony is scheduled on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 8 p.m. at the Eagle Pass Independent School District Student Activity Center Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium in Eagle Pass, Texas, with approximately 602 graduates, announced Eagle Pass Independent School District Superintendent Samuel Mijares.
Leading the Eagle Pass High School Class of 2025 are its top two academic students, Valedictorian Maria Angela Gonzalez with a GPA of 112.6666 and Salutatorian Michael Anthony Garcia with a GPA of 112.5333. Both Gonzalez and Garcia will address their classmates with their Valedictorian and Salutatorian speeches.
The Eagle Pass Independent School District Student Activity Center gates will open at 6 p.m. and the graduation ceremony will commence promptly at 8 p.m. The graduates and their parents and family members are encouraged to car pool to minimize the traffic flow entering and exiting the Student Activity Center.
The Eagle Pass Independent School District recommends people driving to the graduation ceremony to utilize both entrances to the Student Activity Center, including the main entrance on U. S. Highway 277 South and the auxiliary entrance on Loop 480 so that traffic is evenly divided and managed for efficiency and greater access to the facility.
Graduates participating in the graduation ceremony are reminded that they must comply with the school dress code policy. Any student not in compliance will not be allowed to participate. Graduates shall not have any markings, messages, or labels on their cap or gown. High heels are not permitted to be used on the artificial turf field. Women are encouraged to wear flat-footed shoes.
In the event of inclement weather such as rain or thunderstorms on graduation day before the ceremony, the Eagle Pass High School graduation ceremony will be scheduled on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at 10 a.m. In the event of inclement weather or rain on the reassigned date, the ceremony will be canceled and graduates may pick up their diploma on the next business day at school.
