Green Eagle Railroad: Draft EIS Comment Period Extension

he Surface Transportation Board’s Office of Environmental Analysis (OEA) has extended the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) public comment period for the proposed Green Eagle Railroad.  Comments on the Draft EIS will now be due by Monday, June 2, 2025

Comments on the Draft EIS may be submitted electronically on the Board-sponsored project website at https://www.greeneaglerreis.com or the Board’s website at www.stb.gov by clicking on the “E-FILING” link. Please refer to Docket No. FD 36652 in all correspondence, including e-filings, addressed to the Board. Any comments previously submitted need not be resubmitted. Comments on the Draft EIS are now due by June 2, 2025.
