Larissa Jacquez Transfers to Duke University to Join Blue Devils Softball Program
EAGLE PASS, TEXAS – Former Eagle Pass High School Lady Eagles softball standout Larissa Jacquez has announced her transfer from the University of the Incarnate Word to Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Jacquez, known for her dominant pitching and competitive spirit, will now join the Duke Blue Devils, a prestigious NCAA Division I program. Duke is widely recognized for its excellence in both academics and athletics and competes at the highest level in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).
Expressing her excitement about the transition, Jacquez shared that she is thrilled to compete among the top collegiate softball athletes in the nation and looks forward to contributing to the Blue Devils’ continued success.
